Blue Pearl

Blue Pearl is a Norwegian larvikite whose large feldspar crystals flash blue and silver as the viewer moves. The optical effect comes from light interacting with the internal structure of the mineral, giving a hard architectural stone an almost atmospheric surface. It is geology experienced through movement.
