Labradorite

Labradorite is named for Labrador in Canada, where the mineral became known to European science. Its blue, green, gold, and red flashes are caused by light diffracting through microscopic feldspar layers. The effect, called labradorescence, means the stone never presents one fixed image; it reveals itself only as the viewer moves.
