White Carrara
White Carrara
Carrara marble has carried the ambitions of Rome and the Renaissance for nearly two millennia. Michelangelo, Bernini, and generations of sculptors came to the Apuan Alps because this pale stone could hold both fine detail and human expression. Its value is not simply its whiteness, but the long proof that light, proportion, and a disciplined hand can give stone a living presence.
